Top Dawg: Sungha Jung

I’ll be the first to admit I didn’t discover this kid. I stumbled upon him via GuitarFlame’s blog. I was so impressed that an 11 year old kid had chops this good that I had to list him here as a Top Dawg. You have to see it to believe it! This kid is absolutely amazing, and here’s yet another thing: He has only been playing for 2 years! Imaging what he’ll be like in 10 years! I think this kid is headed for guitar greatness.

You might be tempted to think that this is gimmicky, but let me tell you, it’s VERY rare to come across a true prodigy like this. Enjoy and be amazed!

Hey,Brendan! Thank you for credits! Indeed, this child is amazing, I was amazed of how well he plays! And if you look at the videos on his page, I think that they are filmed over time, since you can see some progress he has made from one to an other. He’s very good!

I indeed spent about an hour - of work time - to view this kid’s videos. Like I said, a true prodigy. I’ve been playing for 35 years, and while I’ve developed a good tone, this kid’s got me beat in technique hands-down. It’s really inspiring to me to see that kind of talent!

Gitarrengenie - Sungha Jung

Wenn gestandene Männer ihr seit Jahren liebgewordenes Instrument in die Tonne treten und nie wieder einen Ton spielen wollen, dann könnte ein Kind daran schuld sein. Ein Kind welches sie in allen Belangen in Grund und Boden spielt.
